At first I was looking for a manual and havnt had much luck. I have found other similar manuals though but thats not my question. This model came in a hide-a-way sewing cabinet and were having trouble with the wiring. Originally, there was a plug that the motor and light were plugged into but on side of the plug didnt work. My hubby tried changing out the plug with a regular house hold plug and box. Now when we turn on the machine the light works but if you start to sew, it dims and goes out but turns on once the sewing machine stops. Do you have any ideas? This is supposed to be for a friend but we dont want to give it away until it works well.Charmhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14803759039090825158noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-26975001.post-54725750884302354592016-11-26T23:14:50.383-05:002016-11-26T23:14:50.383-05:00Hi, we purchased an Imperial Model 164, with a JA3...Hi, we purchased an Imperial Model 164, with a JA36 number on it. I am not here to ascertain resale value, nor seeking a manual. I'm not here looking for "more information" to avoid my own exhaustive investment of time, and I must say...you are a patient dude. Thank you for treating the masses kindly.
I sent you a few pictures to the address listed in these comments a few minutes ago...hoping against hope you could help identify a set of cams I received in a large lot of accessories from eBay for my 403a. Initially I figured they would be easy to pinpoint because cams are so identifiable by the well known manufacturers. I listed them free to good home in a few vintage groups on Facebook and noone knew what they were. So, rather than give up and toss them im 100+ hours into my hunt online and I believe I have located two pics showing they are from an early Emdeko zigzag precision machine, before the cams came in bright colors. Am I on a goose chase or what?
Hate to throw them away ...know anyone I can mail them to?
